From meetings to corporate parties, kids’ birthdays to special events, CHS offers unique space rentals and special opportunities for your next event.

Every week, corporations, groups, and non-profit organizations choose CHS as a location for their special event. June Jones can help you plan your event. We offer a preferred list of caterers, suggested room arrangements, free access to our museum galleries, and much more to help you create a memorable event. The following spaces at CHS are available for rental:

• AUDITORIUM — The Auditorium has a seating capacity of 250 and can be used for formal receptions, meetings, and a range of other events. A projection room, retractable screen, podium, slide projector, and sound system are available.
  
  
• LOBBY TO AUDITORIUM — A large, airy Lobby has space for registration needs and refreshment setups.
  
  
• BOARD ROOM — A gracious, paneled, portrait-lined room with large windows and a fireplace, the Board Room features a beamed ceiling that is decorated with molded plaster and gold leaf. This room accommodates up to 75 people.
  
  
• FOUNTAIN ROOM — This is an area leading from the Board Room with a tiled floor, plants, and a working decorative fountain.
  
  
• HALLWAY — The Hallway extends from the Fountain Room, is carpeted, and features a mini exhibition of samples from our collections. Restrooms and a water fountain are directly off the Hallway.
  
  
• KITCHEN — The Kitchen has a small stove, a microwave oven, and a preparation area for caterers. The Board Room, Fountain Room, and Hallway have an easy flow from room to room and lend themselves nicely to receptions.
