Borrowing from the Woodward Genealogy Loan Collection

Connecticut Historical Society members and members of the Mayflower Descendants in the State of Connecticut may borrow up to three books per month from the Woodward Genealogy Loan Collection. Although the loan collection represents only a fraction of the genealogy/family history resources available at the CHS, we are pleased to be able to share them with our members. Borrowing materials is easy:

• Download the "Woodward Collection Loan Agreement" document and the "Woodward Collection Loan Request" form at the bottom of this page or contact research_center@chs.org or (860) 236-5621 x213 to request a print copy of these forms.

• Complete these forms and return them to the CHS with a $5 per book postage and handling fee. Please note that each volume of a multi-volume set is counted as one book.
  

• Allow two weeks for the processing of your loan request.

• Return the books using the mailing label and packaging provided by the CHS by the specified return date. Borrowers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

• Borrow again, or visit the Research Center in person to see all of what we have to help you explore your family history!
