Reproduction Envelopes

Connecticut Quick Facts
Things to Make

Reproduction Envelopes from the Civil War

Make your own civil war envelopes! Click on the links below to get to a full page pattern. Print out the pages, cut them out, and use glue or tape to make them into envelopes. We've designed the size of the envelope so that it will fit on one standard letter page (8.5 x 11"). If you find that the envelope doesn't fit on the page or is too small, adjust the percent enlargement or reduction in your print preferences menu.

Click on an image and print it out!

Now you can print out pages with these images on them. Cut and fold along the lines as indicated, and you have your very own Civil War style envelope. Write letters to your friends and use an historical envelope— a real piece of americana— that you have made yourself
