Supplies
  • Two sheets of stiff paper or card stock (make sure that they are thin enough to go through your printer)
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • String (10 inches)
  • Crayons or colored pens
  • Small hole punch
Patterns
  • Lid
  • Box
Directions

Instructions

      1. Print out pattern pieces(see above). You may need to adjust your printer setup. The printer margins should be set at .5 inches for all margins for best results.
      2. Cut along all outside lines.
      3. Decorate the outside of the box.
      4. Fold inward where indicated so that all the preprinted lines will be on the inside. Use glue to fasten tabs to inside of box.
      5. Punch holes in back of box and on box top where indicated.
      6. Create hinges by tying loops of string through the holes.
