Introduction to Genealogy Resources: Do You Know Where Your Ancestors Are?

Have you always wanted to trace your family tree, but wondered how to begin? Would you like to know a little more about some of the ways people uncover their family stories? This session, conducted by the CHS Research Center staff, will begin at the beginning and give you a succinct overview of the "hows" and "wheres" of genealogical research and some hints for getting started. Youth Program: Summer Enrichment for High School Students
Monday, July 9 - Thursday, August 2
Do you know a high school student who is interested in history and is looking for something to do over the summer? Our Summer Enrichment Program brings together a small group of teenagers, allowing students to pursue their interest in history and develop important life- and work-skills. During the program, students will have the chance to work behind the scenes at the CHS, take weekly field trips to other museums, explore original artifacts, make new friends, and much more!
