Looking for a great way to spend Saturday? Join us for a day filled with fun and games! Play with toys and games from throughout Connecticut's history. Kids can even make their own version of a classic toy invented in Connecticut to take home. (Can you guess what it is?!) This program is great for all ages. Connecticut's Civil War Treasure Troves

Join historian and author Bill Hosley for a day-long bus trip to some of the state's most important, and sometimes unsung, Civil War collections and sites. Stops include Rockville (New England Civil War Museum), Middletown (Middlesex County Historical Society/General Joseph Mansfield House), Winsted (three of the state's best Civil War monuments & Winchester Historical Society's Solomon Rockwell House), Hartford (State Capitol & Museum of Connecticut History.) Registration closes August 31.
