Did You Know? CHS is located in the former home of inventor Curtis H. Veeder (1862-1943)?
The 1928 house is full of secrets and gives us a glimpse at what a luxury residence was like in Veeder’s day, including a working elevator, a car-wash, a built-in vacuum system, and separate servants’ quarters. At 3:00 pm on Saturday, come learn about the Secrets of the Veeder House PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE

Please note that although parts of Farmington Avenue will be closed Saturday morning for the Hartford Marathon, there will be access to the CHS from Asylum Street all day and from the Sisson Avenue exit off I-84 in the afternoon.
