Heroes, Heartthrobs and Horrors: Celebrating Connecticuts Invention of the American Comic Book Return with us to those thrilling days of yesteryear, specifically 1933, when Connecticuts Eastern Color Printing created Funnies on Parade, the first American comic book. Learn Youll discover how Connecticut companies and creators influenced the comic book industry, from its early Golden Age in the 1930s and 1940s right up through the present. Well even show you how comic books are made! Play Have fun creating your own comic book story. Dress up as your favorite characters.
